Rutberg & Company Announces Boston Rutberg Quarterly Event, June 10, 2008

SAN FRANCISCO, March 25, 2008 - Rutberg & Company is pleased to announce the next installment ofRutberg Quarterly, taking place at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 1:00pm - 7:00pm. June's meeting, which is by invitation only, is Rutberg & Company's inaugural Boston event. The program is a greatly expanded, half-day version of the Rutberg Quarterly forums that occur in Palo Alto, California.

Rutberg Quarterly, Boston will feature two provocative general sessions. Tom Wheeler, Managing Director, Core Capital Partners; former President and CEO, CTIA and NCTA; and Wireless Influencers 2008 Chairman, will lead the first session, titled "Reading the Tea Leaves: What Do New Carrier Initiatives Tell Us About the Future of Wireless?" This segment will explore how the emerging initiatives of wireless carriers will shape the wireless and mobility landscape and will address issues from location-based service guidelines, to standards for code scanning, to open access. How do these issues inter-relate, what do they tell us about new directions for the industry, what are the new business opportunities for carriers and their current and future partners?

In the second session, titled "Marketing Roundtable: Can the Mobile Industry Give Brands and Agencies What They Want?" Rajeev Chand, Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst, Wireless, Rutberg & Company, will facilitate a discussion that includes brands, agencies, carriers, and OEMs on what brands want regarding mobility and wireless, and what, how, and whether the industry can reciprocate. How can brands use the mobile medium to establish a connection with consumers? Are programs (and budgets) for mobile best developed in conjunction with, or separate from, traditional and online programs? Is mobile marketing, rather than mobile advertising, the near-term key to unlocking budgets and moving out of the test phase? And, in that context, what capabilities and information do brands and agencies need from the mobile industry?
